I’ve updated the theme on this blog and given it a new look. Trying a new theme the WordPress.com theme team, called Writr. I really like it’s very clean focus on the content and the blogger and that it otherwise stays out of the way. I want to start posting more content here and I’m hoping that the new theme will help bring it to light.
Also, if you don’t already, make sure you follow my photo blog too 🙂
Hi – I love this new theme too. Somehow my gravatar is a square. How did you get the circle around yours, and how do you inset pictures without margin? I can’t figure it out!?
I didn’t have to do anything special to make my gravatar a circle. I took a look at your site real quick; it seems that because you uploaded a custom image instead of using the default (which would be your gravatar) it wasn’t made into a circle. You may want to report this or suggest the change on the WordPress.com theme forums.
Which margin are your referring to with the images?
In your post “Changing Team” your blue image is wider than other images leaving no margin. It looks good!
I’ve tried upload header, remove header, doing noting (which should use my gravatar, but doesn’t) Kindda lost.
So – the forum is on christmashollydau I guees 😉 http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/writr-and-circle-around-gravatar?replies=2
I believe if you don’t upload a custom header it will use your gravatar by default. It did for me 🙂 You posted in the right place; the theme author should reply soon.
For the “bigger” images, you need to set a feature image for your posts — see http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/.
Thanks! I’ll trie a featured image!
Hej Joey
Just a follow-up. It works now. An Automatic Engineer looked at it! Thanks for your help.
Yup we got it fixed 🙂
